Team Captain
Team Captains are crucial to the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our programs. They are supportive, inclusive individuals who embody the CanToo culture, ensuring our community grows and thrives. Typically, Team Captains have completed at least two programs.
This role requires a significant commitment, including attending all training and orientation sessions to support participants throughout the program, as well as commit to availability on goal event day.
Mentor
CanToo Mentors play a key role in supporting Team Captains in program delivery and helping participants with their fundraising efforts. Mentors understand the CanToo culture and are passionate about supporting others in their fitness and fundraising journeys.
Having successfully completed CanToo programs themselves, Mentors are comfortable providing fundraising and encouragement to others. While being a Mentor is a big commitment, it is also a deeply rewarding experience.
To ensure participants are supported throughout the entire program, Mentors must also be available on goal event day.
Champion
Champions are experienced ambassadors who have Team Captained multiple programs and fully embraced the values and goals of CanToo. The Champion role is diverse, supporting multiple training locations (pods).
Having completed numerous CanToo programs, Champions are adept at motivating, inspiring, and supporting Team Captains, Mentors, and Participants across all pods in their fundraising and fitness journeys. Our Swim Champions also hold current Bronze Medallion Certifications.
