Why coach for CanToo?
CanToo is a unique organisation where professional coaches train individuals to run, swim, or paddle in goal events while raising funds for cancer research. Our participants thrive in an inspiring, fun, and friendly environment, and we’re looking for passionate and qualified run and swim (pool & open water) coaches to join our team in Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Regional NSW.
Our core programs typically run in the mornings and evenings on a weekday, as well as on Saturday mornings, with additional corporate programs on weekdays. As a CanToo coach, you’ll be rewarded both in remuneration and in the fulfillment of watching your participants achieve their goals and contribute to cancer research.
What makes a great CanToo Coach?
A great CanToo coach believes in a positive coaching model rather than a boot camp approach. You’ll motivate participants through positivity and goal orientation, delivering sessions that are fun, inclusive, and friendly.
Key qualities we look for include:
-
Supportive and Understanding: You recognise and respect participants' reasons for joining CanToo.
-
Technical Expertise: You can provide valuable technical feedback to help participants improve.
-
Team Player: You thrive in a team environment, working seamlessly with the pod’s Team Captains and Mentors to ensure participants have the best experience possible.
-
Excellent Communicator: Your communication skills help you connect with participants and team members effectively.
