We'll support you to challenge your own health through professionally coached training programs. Whether you choose to run, swim, or paddle a surf ski, you'll be on a journey to better health and fitness, and achieving more than you thought was possible.

Challenge cancer.

Cancer affects us all – whether it’s a parent, sibling, friend, or even yourself, nearly every family will face this battle. Through our programs, you'll raise valuable funds for Australian early career researchers who are uncovering new ways to prevent, treat and cure cancer.

Each of our programs have a fundraising target that we support you in achieving. Your efforts will not only contribute to groundbreaking research but also offer hope and a future to countless individuals and families affected by this devastating disease.

Swim

Dive into our ocean swim programs and experience the thrill of open water swimming. Under the guidance of expert coaches, you'll improve your technique, build endurance, and conquer new challenges through both pool-based and open-water training sessions. You'll be able to work toward conquering a goal distance, from dipping your toes in to a 1km or even a 5km ocean swim.

Run

Our run programs cater to all levels, from beginners to seasoned marathoners. Whether you're aiming to complete your first 10km or achieve a personal best in a marathon, our structured training programs, professional coaching and supportive community will help you reach your goals. You'll gain fitness, make new friends, and raise funds for cancer research with every kilometer you run.

Surf Ski

Advance your ocean skills by learning to Surf Ski and enjoy a more active, healthier lifestyle on Sydney’s wonderful Harbour – a glorious playground right on our doorstep! Our surf ski program will teach you the basics of surf ski paddling and aim to have you ready for a 10km surf ski paddle event. Learn in a fun, safe and supportive environment under the guidance of a professional surf ski coach.

For those who crave variety and excitement, our adventure challenges are the perfect fit. These unique programs span multiple disciplines such as running, swimming, trekking and paddling, offering a comprehensive and thrilling fitness experience. Each adventure challenge is designed to test your limits and broaden your horizons, all in support of a great cause.

Prefer to set your own pace and goals? Our DIY challenges empower you to design a personal challenge that fits your lifestyle and interests. Whether it's a solo hike, a multi-sport adventure, or whether you'll use a more personal event to fundraise such as a birthday (or a big shave!) you can tailor your challenge and still contribute to the fight against cancer. How we fundraise through our programs

1. Join

Choose the program or challenge that’s best for you, find your local training group (we call these “pods”), pick your training dates and register.

2. Fundraise

Start  fundraising via  your personalised fundraiser page and spread the word as you work towards your goal.

3. Achieve

Train alongside a vibrant community of fellow CanToo-ers with expert coaching along the way.  Build your fitness and achieve your  goals and complete your chosen event among a sea of orange!
