This is a picture of my mum who has just turned 80!  I thank those cancer researchers every day for the life-saving treatment that means I get to have my beautiful mum support my swimming. 

CanToo Again!!

I am at it again, training and swimming in some tough conditions to raise money for cancer research.  Since my CanToo challenge swims last year, where I completed two challenge swims, Shark Island and Palm to Whale Beach, three people I know of have been diagnosed with cancer!  It's just incredible that we are still working so hard to find a cure for this awful disease.   If you can spare a small donation to support the researchers whose work will hopefully cure cancer, please follow the link on my page

Can Too Support

I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation. 

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that potentially someone we love may have to battle cancer, and that's a statistic that needs to change. 

So I asked myself, "what can I do to help?" That's where the Can Too Foundation came in! Can Too provides professionally coached training programs for participants of any fitness level to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world. 

In return, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation has trained over 22,000 participants and raised over $30,000,000 to invest in over 150 cancer research grants.
