My ocean swim for cancer
I'm jumping into a 2km ocean swim - A CanToo Program and 2km which is well beyond my comfort zone and a bit too close to sharks. I'm in training and aiming for Feb swim.

Why - I have lost a lifetime friend very recently to cancer. Andy had fought so hard, beat cancer for so long and lived the life to its fullest. Andy was first diagnosed with cancer when he was 15 and fought and won that battle for the next 47 years....oh and he was always a better swimmer than me and actually swam in the world transplant games.
I am sure we all have stories of friends or family like Andy who have won battles with cancer and lost some battles.
Through CanToo I’ll be supporting early career cancer researchers who are working on the next big breakthroughs in cancer treatment. If you can spare a few bucks, it would be really appreciated and will help get an exciting new research project off the ground:
I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation.
