Future Goal Event Fund

Time to face my fears...

I see patients living with Cancer everyday at work. Some are in the midst of difficult treatment whilst others are in remission. Everyone of them has a story to tell and I am often blown away by their positivity and tenacity. I guess when faced with a significant challenge we either fade away or get busy facing up to the challenge that lies ahead. We all know someone living with Cancer.

This year, in honour of my countless brave and inspiring patients, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer with Can Too.

I have been training to complete in a 2km open water Ocean Race under the superb coaching of the Can Too crew. Thinking of my patients with Cancer is helping me attack this goal with positivity and tenacity - even when the journey ahead seems terrifying!

It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me!

The money will go to something we all need - finding better treatments for Cancer.

Next week I’m attempting The BIG Swim. This swim is an an iconic Sydney event - a 2.8km swim around the headland from Palm Beach to Whale beach - check it out here… https://youtu.be/4EY6aDQKM9Q?feature=shared

I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that potentially someone we love may have to battle cancer, and that's a statistic that needs to change.

So I asked myself, "what can I do to help?" That's where the Can Too Foundation came in! Can Too provides professionally coached training programs for participants of any fitness level to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world.

In return, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation has trained over 18,000 participants and raised over $25,000,000 to invest in over 200 one-year cancer research grants.

It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me, or even better join me in a program!

Thank you for your support!
