Raising funds for research.
Welcome to CanToo.
This November I am committing to spending more time out my depth raising money for cancer research.
CanToo supports cancer research by awarding grants to early-career studies.
This is important as less than 20% of all health and medical research grants are awarded to early-career researchers.
The research supported by CanToo so far is pretty amazing and extremely specialised.
Sadly cancer is part of all our lives whether we are living without someone we love, or have had to face the challenge of surviving cancer ourselves. Or both. Research is crucial.
As part of CanToo I have committed to a 3 month training program with my end goal at least 1x2km ocean swim.
If you know me you know I love the water and have learnt to swim as an adult beyond the safety of breaststroke. So this open water race is a challenge. Every swim requires a mindset.
Please help me do a little bit for pathways to better outcomes. Any donation is welcome. Even something little. Thank you.
