About this Program
This program is designed to support everyone, whatever your ability, to achieve your goals in a fun, safe and supportive environment under the guidance of a professional run coach.
It is exclusively for your team at SC Johnson.
Whether you are an experienced runner, returning to training after a break, or brand new to the sport, there's something for you.
Choose a goal - either the 2km, 5km or 10km event at the Manly Rotary Fun Run.
We'll train as a group twice per week at the Rotary Athletics Track.
This program is free to you as a SC Johnson employee.
Training format
You'll train alongside an experienced running coach with an excellent track-record in training first-timers and experienced runners to successfully complete their goal event.
One session per week will focus on interval training and the second session will focus on running or run/walking to time or distance
Interval training typically covers:
- how to run more efficiently
- improving core strength
- proper breathing techniques
- understanding injury prevention
Distance runs typically:
- focus on running form
- build endurance
- improve mental focus
- work on pacing and event strategy.

We proudly fund early career cancer researchers in Australia. Since 2005, we have coached more than 20,000 people, just like you and raised over $25 Million for cancer research.
SC Johnson will donate $10,000 to Can Too as a result of your participation in the program. If you'd like to help us add to that total, anything you raise during this fun challenge will support Australian cancer research and prevention. SC Johnson will dollar match any money you raise!
