This 8-week surf ski program will teach you the basics of surf ski paddling and aim to have you ready for a 10km surf ski paddle event in Sydney Harbour on 8 December.
Learn in a fun, safe and supportive environment under the guidance of a professional surf ski coach.
Whether you have paddled before or this is your very first time, this program will help you become a more efficient and stronger paddler.
You will learn how to:

Set up your surf ski for your leg length

Launch into the water correctly

Paddle with the right posture

Remount back onto your surf ski

Paddle with torso rotation to use your bigger muscle groups and generate more power and more boat speed.

8 week subscription for 3 x paddle classes per week consisting of 2 x dedicated CanToo classes and the option of 1 x general public class of your choice each week

As an entry requirement, you must be able to swim 100m and tread water.
This is a comprehensive program with up to three coached group sessions per week. All group sessions are led by a supportive, experienced surf ski coach.
In this program, you will have the choice of two dedicated CanToo classes per week (Wednesdays & Fridays) with your pod members and the option of attending a third class with the general public. With up to 10 Can Too paddlers per class and 2 coaches, this is the perfect environment to rapidly develop your skills.
If the CanToo reserved classes don't work for you, there are a range of class times to suit your schedule but it’s more fun to paddle with your people so we recommend taking advantage of the CanToo classes.
Surf ski paddling is a full body workout, where you can increase your cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength.
