Congratulations to Abbie Williams for winning the inaugural Post Your Pics to win competition. Abbie was chosen from a stellar list of visual storytellers who shared eye-popping content about their Can Too journeys in the 2021 Sydney learn to ocean swim program. Thank you to Abbie aka “Abbie Who Swims” for sharing the video on Instagram (see below) of her conquering her first official Can Too goal ocean swim – the 2021 Macquarie Big Swim from Palm to Whale Beach last weekend.
The first time Can Tooer showed bravery not just by sharing her highs and lows of training for an ocean swim for the first time. She also stepped up from her original goal of 1km to take on the 2.8km + beast of a swim, and finished with a beaming smile.
“Today marked the original 1km ocean swim goal post. Being in a wave (pun intended) of the bright orange that has become Abbie's own little community, it was impossible to wipe the smile off Abbie's face! Well done to Abbie, and all off the @cantoorunswim legends,” posted Abbie.
Her next goal is the Can Too goal swim – the North Bondi Classic on 14 February. Where all Can Too participants will have the opportunity to share their pics to win with one more prize to give away.
Abbie will receive a $100 promo code off her next Can Too program registration.
