During these difficult times of social isolation due to the Covid19 crisis it’s the perfect time to hop into our Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program.
Can Too’s first Virtual Pod for the Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program sold out recently, the good news is our second program is now open.
If you haven’t joined yet you can register for the Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program here where you’ll join our second virtual Pod.
In the Strength and Cardio Virtual program you join a Can Too pod – so you can train together virtually, with a Team Captain and a Coach, so you are ready and stronger than ever for your next Can Too goal event.
The program is for anyone wanting to improve (or maintain) their strength and fitness within a fun and friendly small online group of training buddies. It's perfect for runners and swimmers, and all the exercises can be done at home, with no special equipment. There is also a health and wellness focus, with content for both physical and mental health, plus a nutrition guide.
The registration fee is $25 and the fundraising commitment is $275. We are also offering the option to make a $27.50 donation each week for ten weeks from a nominated PayPal account.
You'll receive two new sessions each week via a Facebook video with our positive and inspiring Can Too Coach Presenter Sally Lynch.
View Sally’s video introduction to Can Too’s Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program below:
Special guest appearances will also be made by Can Too coaches and Allied Health guest speakers online.
See the online training schedule below:
- 1 x 45min strength session (focusing on slow repetitions and using your own bodyweight) on Monday midday and
- 1 x 45min cardio fitness session Wednesday midday.
These videos will be posted on the Can Too Strength and Cardio Virtual Program private Facebook group which is suitable for beginners through to advanced levels and will be available throughout the course of the program.
We suggest you complete each session twice to achieve four sessions throughout the week.
Once posted, the training content will be available at all times so you can train within your own life schedule.
Can Too’s second Pod Coach and Team Captain
Your Can Too Coach will be Melinda Cockshutt, who will provide two phone consultations and support over the course of the 10 weeks, to ensure you’re motivated and on track. Melinda will work with each participant to choose a goal challenge.
Michael Daley will be the Team Captain for the second pod. Michael will encourage and support your training and achievement of your goal.
Supporting cancer research
By signing up to this 10-week program you can use your personal challenge to create a better future for everyone affected by cancer. You'll be supporting Can Too Foundation which funds award winning, life-saving Australian cancer research. Can Too are still supporting 11 cancer researchers this year.
Together we will continue to keep fit and healthy, mentally and physically
