I'm training and fundraising for cancer research with Can Too
I've never been the best writer. That award would definitely go to my (wonderful) Husband, Isaac. I could definitely win all the awards in the World for talking though! So I guess I will just say what's on my mind...
I have this INCREDIBLE friend, Amy. She has introduced me to CanToo as I have watched her, listend to her and followed her as she continually raises money for cancer research. I'm in complete AWE of her and the way in which she tackles life and I've never really taken time to appreciate how well I am at tackling my own life too. So a MASSIVE THANKS must be sent to Amy (which it has been, countless times) for helping me become aware.
I've always been a busy person. I won't go into details too much but if you know me, the words wedding, baby, work, uni studies and practicum (for uni) would have rang bells many times this year. Yep, I've done it all this year. 2015; my year for... success via stress! I've achieved them all wonderfully and I am so proud. However, I think the most valuable lesson I've learned this year is that I am strong.
I AM STRONG! Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually... I am the strongest I have ever been and the World should watch out because my strength is growing. Seriously. I feel like how (I imagine) Ronda Rousey feels every single day (I also admire her) and I am loving it! But I feel like I need to do more. I feel capable of more and I want to live my life fighting (like Ronda Rousey), using every single ounce of strength I have and will ever have, to help find a cure for the horrid disease we know as Cancer.
Cancer. The one thing that took my Par away. Cancer. The one thing that hurts us all at least once in our lives, in some way. Cancer. The only opponent that won't go down without a fight.
Well, I'm here. I'm strong. I'm ready. I'm committed. I'm fighting.
Like I said, I may not be the best writer. I'm certainly a fantastic talker. Most of all though, I'm a tough fighter so BRING IT ON!
